The latest County Council polling from Electoral Calculus shows Labour losing 3 seats and the Greens gaining just one across the entire county. Labour’s support continues to fall across Cambridgeshire — and neither they nor the Green Party are in any position to beat the Conservatives on 1st May.
The Lib Dems delivered a historic result here last year
At last year’s General Election, the Liberal Democrats achieved their best-ever national result — including the election of three new MPs right here in Cambridgeshire: Pippa Heylings, Charlotte Cane, and Ian Sollom. Each won in former Conservative strongholds, despite Labour’s attempts to mislead voters at the time. Across our region, it’s clear: people are backing the Liberal Democrats to beat the Conservatives and to hold the new Labour government to account for the many promises it is already breaking.
