Stephen Robinson campaigning for 'lollipop' crossing patrolStephen Robinson is Leader Elect of Chelmsford Council after the Liberal Democrats won control of the council from the Conservatives in May 2019. He is a Chelmsford City Councillor for Patching Hall ward (since May 2011) and Lib Dem Group Leader, and Essex County Councillor for North Chelmsford since June 2012. In 2010 he came close to being elected as the MP for Chelmsford.

Locally he has led the fight on our councils against Conservative plans to downgrade Broomfield Hospital A&E and against the Conservative Local Plan that does not deliver enough infrastructure (schools, transport, GPs, affordable housing etc.).

Stephen is using the European election campaign as an opportunity to make the case for Britain's EU membership, as he wants to "get things done" in the EU.
