Bedford Town Bridge lit blue and yellow for UkraineLast week, Mayor Dave Hodgson visited St James's Church, Biddenham to meet with some of Ukrainian guests that are now in Bedford Borough to hear first hand their experiences. I also visited PBIC who are coordinating support for guests and hosts to again hear about any issues.

We now have 244 guests in the Borough, which is made up of 145 adults and 99 children. There are still a number of hosts that have either yet to be matched with their guests or are awaiting for them to arrive.

Mayor Dave would like to say a big thank you to all our hosts and other residents who have made our Ukrainian guests feel so at home and welcome in our communities.
