Update from Cllr Alison Fulcher - William Hunter Way

Your local Liberal Democrat Councillors have received many calls and emails from residents in Brentwood North regarding the anti-social behaviour that is taking place during the evenings in the area of William Hunter Way car park. The Council has dealt with these issues in the past, many times, with varying degrees of success.

During these unprecedented times and lack of Police coverage in the area it seems the problems residents are experiencing are escalating once again. My colleagues and I have discussed this issue with senior council officers and are considering what best to do to ease this problem, or stop it completely. Because of the lack of progress from the Comservative administrations' ambitions in the Local Development Plan we are left with this large open space which acts as a magnet for those persons intent on anti social behaviour which causes distress to surrounding households. We will work with you, and for you, to come up with a better way of managing this car park and ridding you of this regular unnecessary distress and disturbance. We will contact as soon as any plans the council have are made known to us.
