Ipswich Liberal Democrats are pleased to announce that Edward Packard will be standing as the party's candidate in the St. John's Division County Council by-election, to be held on 7 September. Edward is a historian and works as a Lecturer at the University. He was born in Ipswich and has lived in the town since 2013. He is often involved in community engagement events that both commemorate the past and encourage tolerance in the present. If elected, Edward promises to listen to the concerns of all residents and offer an inclusive approach to local politics.
