Three by elections victories - one hold and two gains from both Labour and Conservatives - are an encouraging boost for the #LibDemFightback.

Coming the same day that Tim Farron was elected as the new leader of the party, all three ballots had the Lib Dems on over 50% of the vote. Congratulations to all the new Lib Dem councillors!
