East of England Liberal Democrats Regional Conferencewill take place on Saturday 22 October 2011at Cambridge Regional College, Kings Hedges Road, Cambridge CB4 2QTYou can download the agenda and the policy paper A Green future for the East of England? here. Our Regional Conference is an important event for the Liberal Democrats in the East of England calendar. It brings together over 200 parliamentarians, councillors and activists from across the region to debate policy and share ideas. The event usually runs from 10am to 4pm with a break for lunch. Online registration has now closed, though you can still register on the day. The fee for on-the-day registration will be £30 for all categories of participant, including first-time representatives and claimants. Liberal Democrat members If you're a member of the Liberal Democrats you can come along either as a voting representative or observer, for training or fringe events as well as the debates in the main hall, and even work with your local party to submit a motion. It's a great opportunity to meet other activists from around the region to share ideas and experiences. There are discounts available for both first time delegates and early registrations so there's little excuse not to come! The calling notice pack for the Conference is now available to download here. Sponsorship and advertising The conference, and mailing to our members across the Region, also represent a great opportunity to get your message across to an influential group. Liberal Democrats run a number of councils in the region as well as having two directly elected mayors, MPs, an MEP, members of the House of Lords and members who are active in a wide range of industries. With the possibility of advertisements in our Conference Agenda, all member mailings as well as other opportunities, can you afford to miss out?
